I am not a big reader and I must admit I had your book for about two weeks before I actually picked it up and read it. I have heard you speak on about three or four different occasions. When I finally picked up your book, I couldn't put it down. At times it brought tears to my eyes. I felt like I was there with you. I could relate to much of it. The emotional abuse, the family looking good on the outside to others, the brother who tormented you, babysitting, staying busy so you wouldn't have to go home, your friend Beverly, and your dad was my dad. When you talked about the families on TV...that hit home. I used to think that those kind of families were only on TV...I used to watch the Cosby Show and wish I was in that family. Reading your book and hearing what you have to say has opened my eyes. It gave me a little more understanding of myself. I removed the blinders and am much more aware of what is going on around me. I admire your open mindedness, to whatever works for the healing process. I am one who wants to save the world but like you say, "one person at a time." Thank you Marion for being you and helping me to be a better me. You are an inspiration and I hope to follow your lead.

Most of us will never understand how someone could do such an act as killing innocent people and/or saying such senseless, hurtful comments about anyone. A statement such as this can only come from ignorance & hatred. How could anyone say that they are glad that an innocent child was killed is disturbing and beyond my understanding. The pain that the families are going through has to be heart wrenching to the core. When we suffer, a kind voice and a gentle touch can make all the difference in the world. My hope and prayer is that the friends and families of the victims receive compassion and love during this time and throughout their lives.

Marion,
It is a shame that someone would/could say this about a precious life. It is hard for people to understand, but I personally don't believe this was political.
This was a mentally disturbed man who deseparately needed help. I was crying when I heard about the incident and thinking the country would pull together. I feel the people are, but the leaders aren't.
This tragic event is no one's fault except the killer. This beautiful child will do many wonderful things here or in Heaven and we will know when she gets her wings.
Everyone needs to pray for the family and especially her brother for he has lost his best friend. I can't imagine the pain the parents are going through, except they need our love to help them heal and be able to face the world with love once again.
I pray everyday for love to replace the pain and anger, it will happen it just takes time.
I really like the comment from above and that is
LOVE IS ALL THERE IS!!!! We must have faith in that to understand the meaning of life in general.

Dear Marion,

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful post with me and the world.
Christina is a casualty in a war of hatred. Her light shines bright and she is pure.
I love what you said about her special place in heaven.
That person who wrote those hateful comments on facebook is so dark that they
are afraid of the LIGHT of a bright pure spirit, so afraid that they had to wish her dead.
They are so clueless they don't know that LOVE and Light never dies, EVER!
Christina's loving light will only expand and grow within the hearts of those who knew her
and who love her, and it will also expand in those of us who were touch by her beautiful and brave spirit.
Thank You Christina for sharing your pure Light with us, we are a better world because you were born.
May we live our lives sharing our light and loving each other to honor Christina's life.
To all of those who loved her, we send healing love light directly to your hearts, may you be comforted at this difficult time. May you feel how loved Christina is and may that love lift you in your time of grief.
LOVE IS ALL THERE IS!!!
May we all learn this NOW.

Congratulations Marion, Your book gives others hope and inspiration. People who read your book feel as if you touched a part of their life that has been a big kept secret. People are learning how to live better after reading and rereading your book.
